New to GoonSync? Here's everything you need to know:
- Create an Account: Download the app and sign up with your email address
- Set Up Your Profile: Add a username and optional bio to personalize your experience
- Join or Create Circles: Connect with friends by joining their circles or creating your own (up to 3 circles, 6 members each)
- Start Syncing: Tap the sync button to start tracking your sessions
- Earn XP: Get 10 XP for every minute and level up!

Sync Sessions
Track your sessions with our simple stopwatch system. Start a session, stay focused and earn XP. You can sync solo or with your circles.
Circles
Create private groups with friends. See who's syncing in real-time, compete within your circle and sync together. Each circle can have up to 6 members.
Leaderboards
Compete globally with rankings by Total XP, Weekly XP, Monthly XP and Current Streak. Climb from Participant to Legend status!
Achievements
Unlock 10 unique achievements by hitting milestones. Each achievement comes with XP rewards and bragging rights.
Analytics
View detailed insights about your productivity patterns with beautiful charts showing daily, weekly and monthly progress.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much XP do I earn per session?
You earn 10 XP for every minute. A 10-minute session gives you 100 XP!
How many circles can I join?
You can create or join up to 3 circles. Each circle can have a maximum of 6 members.
How do leaderboards work?
Leaderboards rank users by Total XP (all-time), Weekly XP (last 7 days), Monthly XP (current month), and Current Streak. Rankings update in real-time.
What happens if I break my streak?
Your current streak resets to 0 if you don't complete at least one sync session in a day. Your longest streak record is saved forever!
Can I delete my account?
Yes, you can delete your account anytime through Settings. Your data will be permanently removed within 30 days.
Is my data private?
Your email and password are always private. Your username, XP, and leaderboard rankings are visible to other users as part of the social features. Circle activity is only visible to circle members.
Troubleshooting
Sync Session Not Starting
- Make sure you have a stable internet connection
- Try closing and reopening the app
- Check if you're signed in to your account
Not Receiving XP
- Ensure you properly end your session using the "End Sync" button
- Check your internet connection during the session
- Pull down to refresh your profile page
Can't Join a Circle
- Verify the invite code is correct
- Check if the circle is already full (6 members max)
- Make sure you haven't reached your 3 circle limit
App Crashes or Freezes
- Update to the latest version of GoonSync
- Restart your device
- Reinstall the app (your data is saved)
